Africa has got everything needed to fight coronavirus; only one thing is missing: UNITY.
We have demonstrated disunity through our actions and words in dealing with COVID-19. Every country is fight in its own. Where is AU? Where are our regional blocks? Every nation is busy looking at what is coming from Washington and London. Extremely, one of our brothers is ready to be a testing lab, even though there are very few cases of infections, fewer than 50 cases in DRC. He did not even ask why not in the USA, Italy, Spain, England, or Germany, where plentiful specimens are available for testing. Not AU, SADC, ICGRL has asked him, why brother?

Remember, coronavirus did not originate in our soil or forest; it arrived by flight, which we have never even tried to manufacture its spare parts. It is not our virus, although it may be after years, by the force of imperialism.
We have our African medicinal plants in our bushes; some ethnic groups have been using them (I have personally used them), and they have helped to cure many diseases and viruses, including viruses related to the flu. Unfortunately, we have not even tried them for COVID-19 symptoms. We are waiting for the same flight to bring us medication and a vaccine.
We are betraying our forefathers and the blessing God given to Africans.
